How do I enter the promotion?

Scan the QR code, enter your mobile number, accept the camera permissions and tap the beermat to reveal instantly if you have won a prize or not. If you don’t win a prize instantly you will still be in with a chance to enter your details for a chance to win the main prize in the prize draws which take place in December 2021 and April/May 2022. Please refer to the terms and conditions for more information.

If I win a prize instantly how do I claim my prize?

If you win a prize instantly you will be presented with a ‘claim prize’ button. Click the claim prize button and immediately follow the instructions to fill in your details to claim your prize. You must do this immediately within the same session or you may not be able to claim your prize.

The experience won’t work on my phone, can you help?

In order to enter the promotion you must have a smartphone with a camera capable of scanning QR codes and running the latest versions of Chrome or Safari installed supporting WebGL and native Web-AR. iOS users must have iOS 11 or later installed and internet access to enter by visiting the website: https://www.guinness.com/rugby2021. Please check with Google or Apple support if you are unsure as to whether your handset is compatible for this promotion. The experience doesn’t work on desktop or laptop and may not work on some tablets.

The AR experience freezes when I try to enter the promotion, can you help?

Please ensure that you have a strong and stable mobile data connection. The AR experience requires you to have a good, reliable, secure, mobile signal. Also please ensure that you have enough memory available on your phone. Please ensure that you don’t have multiple apps, chrome, or safari or camera sessions open otherwise this can interfere with using the AR experience.

I entered my mobile number and the experience froze during this session and now I can’t enter, can you help?

Sorry, but you can only enter your mobile once per week. If you have entered your mobile already within that week you will have to wait again until next week to enter.

I entered my details on the web form to claim your prize but the page froze and I can’t claim my prize, can you help?

Please email Guinness@Return2Sender.ie and we will try and retrieve your details. We will attempt to deal with all queries within 72 hours and during business hours only.
